As Yoav staetes, "While these tools individually might not compete with the top commercial services out there in terms of premium functionality, they offer lots of useful information right at your fingertips, and are a great starting point for developing your own SEO toolkit."

#4. Six Easy Ways to Eliminate Pesky Duplicate Content - Search Engine Guide. Duplicate content is still a valid SEO concern. Yet there are a number of simple ways to eliminate duplicate content. Stoney deGeyter offers a couple of ways to eliminate duplicate content including:
- removing old files from your server
- fixing broken links
- using absolute links

#2. How to build links when you don’t have linkable assets - http://www.hugoguzman.com. This post discusses the idea of linkable assets and how to obtain links when you have very few or no linkable assets. Some of the tips include:
- Look for sites that link to two or more of your top competitors.
- Use social media monitoring tools to identify brand mentions that aren’t accompanied by an inbound link
- Look for guest posting opportunities
- Submit to directories. (although this can have a limited benefit based on the effort required.)
