Eric is a pretty brilliant guy when it comes to search. His opening comment in this post sets the tone nicely: "One of the biggest factors in the traffic you get from search engines is the inbound link profile to your site. When you make a significant change to your site, one question that the search engines need to consider is whether those links are still valid." We agree entirely with the five items that Eric pointed out that can have adverse effects on your SEO efforts.
