Google share price continues to rise amidst rumors that the search giant is on the verge of announcing the release of a couple of new products including a Google Wiki application and the Google Phone. The other day we reported that Google may be ready to make an announcement regarding the Google Phone, as a number of sources are reporting that they have seen prototypes of the Google Phone.
In early morning trading, Google share price rose by almost $8 jumping to over $523 per share. Last week, Google (GOOG) announced that they would be hosting news on their site. According to a report from CNN Money, Google will be hosting news from the Associated Press and three other news services:
Although Google already had bought the right to display content produced by all four news services, the search engine's news section had continued to link to other Web sites to read the stories and look at the photographs.
If Google does indeed launch their Google Phone, we may see the share price fluctuate even further. Keep watching over the next week or so.
