Google Continues to Lead in Search |
| Tuesday, November 21, 2006 |
Numbers from Comscore for October indicate that Google continues to be the search leader in the US. Comscore reports that Google'es market share in the US was 45.4 % a modest increase over the previous month. Yahoo gained slightly to 28.2 in October. Microsoft (Live Search) experienced a decline to 11.7 percent, after falling 0.6 percent in September to 11.9. Ask.com held its 5.8 share, while sites on the Time Warner network, including AOL, decreased to 5.4 percent.
Love it or hate it, Google continues to be the search engine of choice for users in the US. Investors seem to like Google as well, as earlier today Google's stock price surpassed $500 per share. |
